When Mara says there is no job to large or small that she cannot handle, she really means it.  We had Mara List our Home for Sale in the city of Bell.  When we originally bought the home over 40 years ago many additions to the home were grandfathered-in and we knew the sale of this property would be problematic.  Needless-to-say, Mara worked with the city and got the necessary permits needed to facilitate the sale.  We knew going into the process it would be difficult to close the deal; however, Mara made the process very easy and found the right buyer “the first time” to make it happen.  There are many agents that can close a normal deal, but how many can close a deal that has so many challenges along the way.  Well she did just that all with little stress to us.

I was a 67 years old and anticipating retirement while living Rancho Cucamonga with a Loan Modification about to reset with payments projected to reach $3800.00 by age 68. With that in mind I started looking to down size.

I was given information of a house available in Fontana, and this is how I was fortunate enough to meet Mara Sweets. I called Mara and we met at the house …she showed me around and I loved it, it was well kept and substantially less than my mortgage with an increase in square footage and a pool.

Mara explained several folks had seen the house, and all wanted it. However, after the showing I spent quite a bit of time in conversation with Mara explaining my situation, i.e. it was imperative I move from my location due to retirement and the coming reset of my loan, I also explained I was not delinquent, and had invested a significant amount of money remodeling my home and really did not want to leave it.

Mara was empathetic and told me she thought I would be a good match with the owner and the house. She notified the owner and after meeting the requirements of the lease, the house was mine. But that was not the end of our relationship as I needed a realtor to work out the procedures of the Short Sale on my Rancho home.

AMAZING LENDER -  I had the opportunity to work directly with Mara and her staff in September, 2018.  Mara worked feverishly to help me get out of a bad loan that had a large balloon payment at the end of the loan.  She took time to speak directly with me and the Service Provider of the loan.  Mara did everything she promised including lowering my mortgage payment by $300.00 per month, impounding the taxes and insurance and lowering the interest.  The loan process was short of a MIRACLE given it was done in two weeks.
